As an accomplished writer with a degree in English and a focus on Public Relations and Corporate Communications, I bring extensive experience in content creation, editing, and storytelling. My work spans diverse formats, including blog posts, social media content, newsletters, podcasts, and academic research. From crafting compelling narratives to editing complex manuscripts, I am dedicated to producing high-quality content that resonates with audiences and drives community engagement.
In addition to educational blog posts, I developed a blog series that showcased the contributions of individual members, expressing gratitude for their involvement and inspiring others to participate. This process involved analyzing data to select featured members, conducting interviews, and crafting blog posts with complementary social media content to amplify their stories. This series increased the visibility of our members and partners and allowed us to showcase our non-profit mission.
During my time at Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (MCLA), I gained extensive writing experience through various roles. As a Writing Associate at the MCLA Writing Studio, I provided one-on-one tutoring, developed lesson plans, and increased student engagement through social media efforts. These experiences at MCLA laid a strong foundation for my diverse writing career.
I assisted the Managing Editor in editing and compiling Storey’s Curious Compendium of Practical and Obscure Skills, a country living skills book published in 2020. My role involved organizing and summarizing hundreds of pages of archival content, effectively managing sources with Excel. I also coordinated with the Illustration Coordinator to ensure accurate content representation and secure permissions.
